Mr. Chow’s newest oceanside addition, with chic white on white decor and fresh seasonal cocktail menu, is elated to join the Malibu community. Most recently awarded the 5 Star Diamond Award by the American Academy of Hospitality Science for its excellence, service, and cuisine, Mr. Chow is a combination of authentic Beijing cuisine and original recipes including such signature dishes as Chicken Satay, Hand-pulled Mr. Chow Noodles, Ma Mignon, and famed Beijing Duck. It’s “celebrity-spotting central” at this “hip”, “legendary” Beverly Hills Chinese, a “high-energy” haunt (“an elegant zoo”) where both stars and “normal folks” tuck into “refined” fare served in a “chic” black-and-white setting graced with original Warhols; fans call it a “must-go at least once” just to “see what the hullabaloo is all about”.
