Discover Scuba! Monthly Try Scuba Class

What’s it like to Scuba Dive? Here’s your chance to find out.

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fly like a superhero and float like an astronaut in a plane will run you over $5000 (no learning to scuba diving is a lot less!!).  Here at Malibu Divers you can learn to experience weightlessness every time you dive. Add in, it’s a lot quieter, easier to do AND for a lot less money! Every since you can remember you’ve wanted to try scuba, right? Maybe you watched a cool movie on television that had scuba divers in it or a friend of yours just got back from a trip to the “Islands” and dove with dolphin, turtles and other neat critters.

GETTING STARTED IS EASY

Either call or stop by Malibu Divers and sign up for one of our many Try Scuba experiences. You will need to complete a Discover Scuba Diving form (see above tab). It contains important information and explains some of the safety aspects of scuba diving. Complete the information and give it to you’re Malibu Diver professional the day of your Try Scuba experience.

NOTE: A positive response to any of the medical questions on the form means you will need to consult a physician prior to entering the swimming pool. An additional form is then needed called the PADI Medical Statement and Guidelines for Recreational Scuba  which you will take to a physician to receive clearance to scuba dive.

Prior to your pool dive, your Malibu Diver professional will give a brief orientation, then take you on your first underwater adventure in our heated pool. Get ready for the experience of a lifetime. There’s nothing else that can compare to it. After about a half hour or more of blowing bubbles and playing underwater, you’ll hop out of the pool, head for the locker-room and tell all your friends that YOU discovered “ZERO GRAVITY”.
